As part of our continual development programme, TRACS Assets Limited have released the latest version of its equipment rental management software offering with TRACS V8.08. Successfully rolled out to our global client base towards the end of 2017, V8.08 hosts a wealth of significant enhancements and new features to facilitate a prosperous year of equipment management ahead.
Areas of development can be found throughout various TRACS screens including Sales, Rentals and Purchases, Accounts, Book In, Inspect and Repair management – all aimed at increasing ease of use and depth of data input for users. A taster list of V8.08 enhancements are as follows:
Meeting industry demand for a clear and concise audit history of equipment, the latest upgrade now supports indexed bundle management through TRACS. This process can be complimented with use of the TRACS Mobile app - supporting the whole pipe management process with or without auto-ID (such as RFID or barcodes), allowing you to manage each individual joint of pipe from cradle to grave.
Editing or updating company address information doesn’t need to be complicated or time consuming. With V8.08, the entire process has been simplified for ease of use; with new non-mandatory fields and drop down lists. These include County, Longitude, Latitude and Reference options.
Invoice Delivery Locations
Having the flexibility to meet customer requirements is essential for your equipment rental business. If a customer requires multiple orders to be visible on the same invoice, it’s not a problem - this can now be made possible with V8.08. Items sharing the same PO can now appear on the same invoice regardless of where they have been delivered to.
ERAT Line Item Approvals
Don’t let timely tasks hold back invoicing any longer. Accommodating those large ERATs that can take weeks or even months to fully complete, you can now raise an invoice in TRACS before an entire ERAT is completed and approved. Partial invoicing capabilities allow ERATs to be invoiced as work is progressing in order to improve cash flow.
Intangible Sale Dates
Manage tangible and intangible items with the same level of detail. You can now set a specific sale date for each intangible line item on an order - allowing intangible items to be grouped with related tangible items and invoiced in a more consistent and logical way, further eliminating room for error.
With the development of two new input fields, you can now select multiple off-rent items from an order or delivery to save time and effort – it’s as simple as pressing a button.
TRACS has been built from the ground-up on scalable Microsoft technology, presenting users with a familiar working environment. To expand on this in its latest upgrade, PDF printing options have been placed intuitively for ease of printing of reports with just one click of a mouse.
